(FIBER PROTECTOR) Permit to remodel an existing office / storage building with minor work some previously completed un-permit and some new on this permit. Work to include: Demo stairway to unpermitted mezzanine in back storage area, construct (2) non-bearing partitions with tempered glass sections in showroom, 2x6 construction breakroom and closet area previous built with out permit needs inspected, mezzanine created previously is not to be used and a cable with sign stating " STORAGE ON MEZZANINE IS PROHIBITED ", electrical work, and finishes. This building is not fire sprinkled. Interior finishes shall be in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2015 IBC. If in the future access to or usage of the mezzanine is desired then a separate building permit including structural engineering will be required - applicant was notified of this. MDH FIRE - NOTE: no outdoor flammable liquid storage approved under this permit. Applicant to submit separate permit for outdoor flammable liquid storage at future date.
