To upgrade the core area first floor corridor to 1-hr. construction in accordance with approved plans on file. Work to include removal of existing suspended ceiling system in corridor and lobby and glazing sidelights on doors 2 and 14, relocate ducting as needed above new ceiling area, build a new 1-hr rated ceiling assembly, install smoke/fire dampers in ducting penatrations of new ceiling, fire-caulk all other penetrations of new ceiling, infill open areas where glazing removed in rated walls with new 1-hr rated assembly, provide new rated doors and rated sidelights in all required doors in corridor and provide for relocation of sprinkler heads and exit lighting and signage as per approved drawings. NOTE: Building is fully fire sprinklered. A separate Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing (Fire Sprinklers) Permit is required for this project. Plan Check # 041-96. PRP
