To remodel the family waiting areas in the Pediatrics Therapy area on the 4th floor, North Wing, to create a new pediatric patient/family interaction play therapy room and roof top playground, per approved plans on file. Work to include interior finish demolition of existing waiting rooms, conversion of waiting to play room with new interior finish materials & equipment; new access door to room and to the roof area on the North. Roof to receive new "Class A", rubberbase floor finish and enclosure fence at perimeter. MAXIMUM OCCUPANT LOAD OF ROOF PLAY YARD IS 9 OR LESS, TO INCLUDE HOSPITAL STAFF, UNTIL SECOND EXIT STAIRWAY IS COMPLETED AS PART OF PHASE TWO. All construction materials to be noncombustible frame with fire-resistive coverings compatible for Type I-FR Construction per Section 602, UBC. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered.
