(CALVARY CHAPEL SANCTUARY - BUILDING "A") (6-19-03 PLAN MODIFICATION - TO ENCLOSE THE WEST COURTYARD AND USE THE AREA FOR 45 ADDITIONAL SEATS.) This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction of the building. To convert a former automobile show room/repair garage to a church. When completed, the first floor will have a floor area of 19,800 square feet and the 2nd floor will have a floor area of 2,900 square feet. Additions total 3,400 square feet. Work is to include constructing new shear walls, strengthing the roof diaphragm, constructing a roof structure at the perimeter of the existing roof, building a new second floor, installing columns and beams, installing a fire alarm system, upgrading the fire sprinklers system, etc. all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1996 as regulated by the Fire Department. A demo permit (BLD99-0687) and a foundation permit (BLD99-1232) were issued earlier.
