(EMPIRE BUILDING - PHASE 3) This building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC to allow it to be 2 stories and 26 feet too tall. To complete the shell and core work (phase 3) of a building renovation. Work is to include 12 restrooms accessible to the disabled, nonrated corridors connecting stairways on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th floors, a 1-hr fire resistive corridor in the basement, smoke protection on elevator doors, and elevator lobby finishes on all floors all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1996 and the alarm system shall comply with NFPA 72-1996 as regulated by the Fire Department.
