Contractor wanted to check for approval on receptacle outlets each side of bed. The units are guest rooms.
As per 210.60(B)- receptacles shall be located so attachment plug will not be in contact with bed furniture. They will install a junction box behind removeable headboard and move receptacle where needed.

Discussed electrical requirements of remodel. Walls will not have drywall removed will be repainted. Patches will be created to add microwave circuits. Surface mounted conduits shall be listed assembly, receptacles shall be tamper resistant type, range receptacles shall be 4 wire, bedroom areas not required to be AFCI protected due to no new wiring being installed, check with Building inspector on ADA requirements for units that may be marketed as ADA. Panels may need lowered to comply. Temp wiring feeding sign not compliant, GFCI protection, installed by unlicensed person, shall repair with in 5 working days. Will schedule reinspect for temp wiring for Wed. 1-18-17.
