ST LUKES IS Center - To install a new fire alarm system, to provide required sprinkler and HVAC monitoring plus smoke detection in hallways and above and below the floor of the computer room, heat detection in basement, full building manual pull stations with complete a/v annunciation. Work is part of TI remodel.NOTE: The building permit is to change occupancy use from "I1.1" (NURSING HOME) to "B" (OFFICE). To remodel the 19,480 sq.ft. main floor for office's & support services space for "SLRMC Information Services", serving the internal functions of St. Luke's R.M.C. The 1,440 s.f. basement is for service of the building only (mechanical/electrical). Work to include selective demolition of interior walls; removal of portion of existing roof structure to raise the roof elevation w/ new structure, above the new computer room; construction of interior walls to form offices, accessibility upgrades throughout; to upgrade exterior walls at North & East to 1-hour construction w/ protected openings / penetrations & rated parapets; new exterior wall finish; install new "Class C" roof covering system, drainage and parapet screen on South & West walls, with new RTU HVAC equipment & support structure; and interior refurbishment of ceiling, wall & floor finishes w/ electrical, plumbing, mechanical & sprinkler /alarm systems upgrades.
