A GROWING PLACE - Resubmitted plans are to install manual pulls and smoke detectors as required for an E-3 occupancy, monitoring of the building sprinkler waterflow and valves, and monitoring of HVAC duct detectors within the TI area for air handler shut down, all connected to the existing addressable Simplex 4020 FAC panel located in Building A; and a/v annunciation within the TI area, connected to a new FAC panel located in Building B.
A three year upgrade agreement has been approved by the Fire department to upgrade the remaining alarm system in Building B, replacing the existing Edwards FAC panel in this building and connecting all devices to the 4020 panel in Building A.
The building permit is to remodel a 5,000 sq.ft. area in the southwest wing of an existing nursing home for a day care to accommodate 87 persons
NOTE: This building is fire sprinklered for requirements of the I-1.1 occupancy.
