SCOPE: To upgrade the existing Capital Terrace building alarm system in accordance with a letter by Larry Hansen dated 1/24/2002 and the terms as noted in the approval dated 2/11/02 by the Boise City Fire Department, and in an e-mail memo by Larry Hansen dated 2/4/2002 and the terms as noted in the approval dated 2/11/02 by Sam Rogers. This is Phase 1 of the approved upgrade agreement. Per the agreement, additional manual pull stations (to provide pulls at all exits) and upgrading a/v alarm devices to meet UFC 1007.3.3.3 and NFPA 72, will not be required under this Phase 1 permit.
The associated building permit (BLD 00-02971, PITA PIT) is to remodel for a new 1,011 sq.ft. tenant (784 sq.ft. main floor, 227 sq. ft. mechanical mezzanine) in existing building, changing occupancy from an (A 3) restaurant to a (B) occupancy restaurant per approved plans on file. The former restaurant space is being split up into two tenant spaces. Adjacent portion is "McDonalds" done under BLD00 01146. Work to include miscellaneous demolition, upgrading a restroom to meet current accessibility standards, one hour rated CMU wall infill in existing one hour rated occupancy separation wall, interior finish, new walk in cooler, fire sprinkler adjustments, mechanical equipment including a new Ventless Hood installation over electric griddle, mechanical work, plumbing work, and electrical work.
2/26/2004 - ADDITIONAL SCOPE: The architectural backgrounds do not reflect the field conditions of current tenants. (i.e. Scandiadown, AMG Fine Housewares, Clark Photography, Boise Floral Company and Purple Sage are no longer there). Napoleon's for Men, 110 N. 8th, BLD03-01106 is a TI that has occurred since 1/1/2003. Per the agreement, effective 1/1/2003, any TI will trigger the upgrade of the existing manual fire alarm system and existing audio/visual (speaker/strobes) throughout the building. A new Fire Alarm Permit will be required for the completion of the upgrade agreement dated 2/4/2002.
