Boise City Library - To install a new fire alarm system in this existing building. The system will include manual pull stations, sprinkler system and fire pump monitoring, smoke detection for air handler shutdown and smoke damper release, elevator recall, monitoring of a Halon extinguishing system, and a/v annunciation.
The associated building permit (BLD 01-03082) is to perform elevator, fire alarm, and security upgrades to the Boise City Public Library. Work is to include new storefront doors, new doorways in front elevator shaft #1 at the 2nd and 3rd floors, new smoke control doors on all doorways in front elevator shaft #1, upgrades to the elevator machine room, security upgrades to selected doors, and the modernization of two elevators.
