SARMC (SLEEP LAB) - To extend the existing building fire alarm system into the new TI area. Work will include adding in-patient room smoke detectors with corridor visual annunciation (per prior agreement, these smoke detectors are allowed to be system detectors instead of single station detectors), in-duct detectors for smoke damper release, duct detectors for HVAC shut down, a new remote annunciator panel and horn/ strobes. The FAC panel and NAC panel are existing.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-00745) is to finish a 4,554 sq.ft. portion of the 15,665 sq. ft. basement for use as a 'sleep lab' in this medical building per approved plans on file. Work to include construction of interior, non-bearing, non-combustible, fire-resistive walls to create exam and sleep rooms; conference, storage and administration rooms to support the sleep lab testing & treatment facility; to construct a 1-hour rated exit corridor between stair enclosures; suspended ceiling grid system, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression & alarm system installation and or upgrade to meet tenant needs and to comply with current adopted codes and ordinances.
