(ADA COUNTY CORONER - MORGUE) This building requires fire sprinklered for area increase. To install fire sprinklers in a 3,450-ft/2 morgue within an existing 24,000 square foot warehouse/office building, to be used by the Ada County Coroner's Office. The Coroner will occupy the 3,450-ft/2 morgue, the 2,400 ft/2 1st floor office area, and the 2,000 ft/2 2nd floor office area (7,850 ft/2 total permitted work area). Work is related to 2 toilet/shower rooms, 2 upgraded toilet rooms, new interior nonbearing walls, a 300 square foot mechanical mezzanine, replaced concrete slabs, foam plastic freezer/cooler, and suspended ceilings all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
