There are structural upgrades to the building, which involve wood joists, steel columns, steel beams, and a steel braced frame. Only a portion of the basement will be fire sprinklered. The basement fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list; as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
