Lithia Motors - This permit is to install a new fire alarm system serving the existing building and new addition. The system will include offsite monitoring of the fire sprinkler system, manual pull stations (without a/v annunciation), elevator recall functions, spot coverage smoke detectors for release of overhead roll-up fire doors, and duct smoke detectors for HVAC air handler shutdown, with a single inside alarm at a normally occupied location, and a remote annunciator panel at the front entry.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-02435) is to remodel and finish an existing 53,875 square foot, one story CMU shell building to create a new service and parts storage areas. This work also includes the construction of a new 2,605 square foot mezzanine within the General Service Area. The permit is also to construct a new 28,665 square foot, two story addition at the west side of the existing building. This area is for Service, Showroom and Administrative Office areas. There is a two-hour area separation wall between the existing building and new addition. This building is fully fire sprinklered.
