COMFORT SUITES - U.G. * To install a 4" fire service supply into a new, 51,500 ft/2, three-story building. The underground will tap off Vista Ave. into the property line, run South approximately 168 feet, then East approximately 81 feet, then North into a fire sprinkler riser room. Also this permit includes a 4" Fire Department Connection supply that follows the service supply main back out, to be located for fire apparatus equipment access. The 4" FDC main will be graded to a auxiliary and ball drip drain access pit. *Since the fire service supply main is 4", all above ground fire protection work shall require hydraulic calculation verification and no other service can be attached to this underground supply system below or above ground. (NFPA 24:7-6.1) This building will be fully fire sprinklered for area increase. The underground fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, 24-1995 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, for verification of compliance to minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD02-02863.
