To modify and drop fire sprinkler protection in a new 7,873 ft/2 tenant improvement for offices within an existing 26,000-ft/2 structure. Work is related to new fire barriers, fire partitions, new dropped gridded ceilings. This work will entail the change and usage of existing Viking Model M SSU's Q.R., ½" x 3/8", 2.7 K-factor sprinklers TO: Tyco Series TY-FRB 5.6, K-factor, Recessed, SSP, Q.R. Sprinklers. Fire sprinklers are used for are used for area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall be installed in accordance to NFPA 13-1999, complying with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
