(JOE'S CRAB SHACK) To modify an existing fire sprinkler system in a 6,943-ft/2 remodel for a restaurant (new owner-originally the Chart House). Work is related to a complete interior remodel, construction of a new canopy over entrance, new type-1 hood and grease duct shaft, remove stairs from second floor loft and new mechanical loft with a permanent access ladder. This building is fully fire sprinklered for one-hour fire-resistive construction. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-003091.
