New fire alarm system in new structure, fully sprinklered.

1/28/2004 - Additional scope, three strobes were required per the PDS Fire Inspector.

There is no impact to the battery, voltage drop and speaker wattage calculations, existing batteries are acceptable.


12/11/2003 - Additional scope, the following is being installed in area A (see modified plans, items are clouded):
" one new duct detector for HVAC shutdown (RTU-7)
" three new strobes to cover new space
" three new in-duct detectors for fire/smoke damper control
" two new pull stations
" four relocated strobes
" two relocated pull stations

12/16/2003 - Received updated matrix to include the in-duct detector for HVAC shutdown. Revised matrix is in the packet.

The associated building permit (BLD 02-02454) is to construct a new 26,050 sq.ft. single story, sanctuary, restroom and entry vestibule. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for one-hour substitution. This permit includes if accepted alternate #2 to "Area A", demo entry, modify existing exterior wall and make a two-hour separation wall and connect "Area A & Area B" via an new entry lobby.
