Existing fire alarm system to be replaced due to addition of an Ansul Autopulse, 442R releasing control unit and an upgraded portion of the sprinkler system to preaction for the existing computer room. The existing FACP will be replaced to accommodate the releasing capability of a double/interlocked preaction valve.
7/22/2003 - The agent releasing panel has been changed to an Inergen.

The associated sprinkler permit is FIR03-00008. To tap into an existing wet pipe system main on the first floor riser supply, pipe 1½" main to the second floor and install a double interlock system riser and related piping (less the electrical detection operation devices and panel). Also reroute existing (wet) line coverage piping around the computer room. All work related and addressed in this permit shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of meeting minimum code. This permit is not attached to any building permit
