Fire sprinkler work is related to the installation of new interior walls, two new restrooms, new suspended ceiling, new walk-in cooler/freezer, new Type II hood over oven, new mechanical work. All three buildings on this site were reviewed as one building, for allowable area and exterior wall and opening protection under the shell-building permit, 1997 UBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. All fire sprinklers and related appurtenance within this permit work scope shall meet current NFPA 13-1999 standards, comply with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, in order to provide witness verification of compliance in meeting minimum code standards.
