Remodel work involves a new coffee bar, new office, new break room, new storage/processing areas, and two new restrooms. Fire sprinkler work is related to interior demolition work, some new interior walls, some suspended ceiling work. Code upgrade agreement on file for this shopping center to be completed prior to issuing a permanent Certificate of Occupancy for this tenant. Sagging insulation obstructing some sprinkler heads and insulation backing flame spread rating above suspended ceiling to be addressed and corrected in this space and throughout the entire shopping center under this permit. A new Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when all work is completed and approved. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
