(8TH STREET MARKETPLACE - BUILDING 404 - BASEMENT/1ST/2ND FLOORS) Add and modify fire sprinklers in and existing fully sprinklered building for the remodel of areas located in the basement and on the 1st and 2nd floors in "The 8th Street Market Place", addressed as 404 S. 8th Street. Fire sprinkler work is related to the new core restrooms in the basement and on the 2nd floor, a wheelchair lift, a new 8th Street entrance, new Broad Street entrances and an expanded roof structure. PA Northwest portion of an outside canopies appears to be getting enclosed of which new lines will be installed and old sidewalls (dry) will be removed and pluged. This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance rated construction. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
