(IDAHO SELF STORAGE)(BUILDING "C") * To install a new fire sprinkler system in an existing 11,628-ft/2 type V-B nonrated warehouse structure that will used for misc. storage. Limits of storage are: Class I through III, palletized, in bin boxes, shelf or rack do not exceed 12'-0". Class IV in palletized, in bin boxes or shelf (no rack) cannot exceed 10'-0". Group "A" plastics in approved racks, solid pile, palletized, bin boxes or shelf storage cannot exceed 5'-0", with exceptions (reference NFPA 13:12.1.10.1.1). Miscellaneous tire storage on floor, on tread or on side, in single or double or multirow approved racks on tread or flat cannot exceed 5'-0", with exception (reference NFPA 13:12.1.10.1.1). The building will have non-bearing interior panel walls to create storage units with open ceilings. New lighting and HVAC are also being installed which may affect fire sprinkler protection coverage. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-02195.
