To remove a halon suppression system in a data center and replace with a double interlock pre-action system. FA Scope is to implement a releasing panel (UL listed) for a pre-action system in the data center, located in the single story building. The releasing panel will be monitoring by the existing fire alarm panel located in the 3 story building.

9/14/2004 - Additional scope is to provide notification throughout the Wells Fargo Data Center building. Three (3) new NAC extender panels are added under this permit. Smoke detectors will be provided in the computer room above the ceiling and below the ceiling for indication to the releasing panel.

The associated building permit (BLD03-03054) is to remodel and update some mechanical and electrical systems in large portions of an existing 55,732 sq. ft., one story building per approved plans on file. Work to include miscellaneous interior demolition work, new grilles/registers/diffusers, new thermostats, some new VAV boxes, new VFD and filters in mechanical room, new lighting/switching and exit signs in most of the building, and some electrical work. All circuits are connected to an existing standby generator. (BUILDING #2 is not included in the scope of the fire alarm system.- Remodel to update mechanical system in existing 116,397 sq. ft., three story building. Work to include additional steel support for two new rooftop ventilator units, sprayed fire-resistant materials at new steel members and any repairs at penetrations of new rooftop units, three new relief louvers in exterior wall at existing mechanical rooms, rebalance entire mechanical system, new VFD and filters in mechanical rooms, and some electrical work. Special Inspection required for sprayed fire-resistant materials.) This is a Scope of Work Permit. Letter of Completion to be issued when done.
