(IDAHO CENTRAL CREDIT UNION)(TERRACE PLAZA) * To upgrade/modify the basement fire sprinkler system to meet current construction protection and extend fire sprinkler protection throughout the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. Basement fire sprinklers will be completely changed to Q.R.'s and added protection in all concealed combustible areas. The existing riser assembly will be modified to include a new supply main piped though and up into the existing floor janitor's closets with separate floor zone controls and the installation of a double backflow preventer with forward flow appurtenance which will double for a new main drain. A anti-freeze loop system will be installed in the drive-thru canopy. This project has been submitted and reviewed for a change in construction type, as a Type IIIB rather than Type IIIA construction type, since the building is not compliant with 1-hour construction. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2000 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD03-01830.
