To provide multiple station smoke detectors in a residence per IFC and NFPA 72 and to extend the audible component of the existing building fire alarm system into the residence (4th and 5th floors). The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, required automatic detection, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02056) is to construct a new 4,338 sq.ft. two story condominium residential unit on the 4th and 5th floors. The fourth floor is approximately 2,388 sq.ft and the fifth floor is approximately 1,950 sq.ft. Work to include the installation of the HVAC, plumbing, electrical interior walls and cabinets.
