(J R SIMPLOT COMPANY - 3RD FLOOR) To remodel the (15,900-ft/2) 3rd floor, of an existing high-rise building for a whole floor tenant (17,073-ft/2). A 2-hr fire barrier intended to function as a horizontal exit will be constructed to divide this floor into two egress areas. Fire sprinkler and standpipe work is related to the new 2-hr fire barrier walls (with fire doors), interior nonbearing walls, and glass block walls. This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2000 and the permit review comments; as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
