Resubmit plans per review note #8. The addition of the rooftop unit has blocked coverage of the upright sprinkler head. Per the sprinkler head data sheet it appears that three types of sprinkler heads are being used. A 3/8" a 1/2" and a 3/4" are not crossed out on the data sheet. Specify which head is being used and in which location. Provide info and SIN number on the resubmittals. Provide access to the sprinkler heads such as a ladder for verification of specific head type and correct esch. Upright sprinkler heads have less than 1" clearance from ceiling to deflector. See NFPA 13; 8.6.4.1.1.1. Atleast one of the pipe hangers appear to be screwed into partical board above the ceiling. Provide verification this is acceptable and verification the other hangers meet NFPA 13 requirements. Upright heads are spaced 8'-6" off of the exterior wall in the concealed spaced. Provide verification "small room rule" can also be "small cavity rule" or add/relocate uprights. 9/9/2004 3:03:13 PM
