To add A/V appliances for the TI remodels (floors 18, 19 and 20) to an existing required fire alarm system that includes manual pull stations, automatic detection, sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, high rise bldg requirements and notification appliances throughout.
The associated building permit (BLD 04-00029) is to expand an existing tenant space located on the 19th floor (11,626 square feet) and on the 20th floor (3,740 square feet) into the 18th floor (11,627 square feet). In addition to occupying a portion of the 20th floor and all of the 19th floor, this tenant will also occupy all of the 18th floor. All levels will be interconnected by interior stairways that are not part of the egress system. The restrooms located on the 18th floor and the restrooms located on the 19th floor will be upgraded to be accessible to the disabled. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, a stairway located in a new floor opening between the 18th and 19th floor, a new stairway located in an existing floor opening between the 19th and 20th floor, interior nonbearing walls, interior windows, interior doors, millwork, suspended ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, and interior finishes all per the approved drawings and plan review report on file.
