Description |
To provide a required manual fire alarm system. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout. At this time, the core areas (defining walls) indicated on the drawings are "for future TI work", notification has been included in the restrooms, elevator lobby areas and what will appear to be the "future corridors". NO OCCUPANCY is allowed. Future TI work for the 2nd or 3rd floors will require the 1st floor main corridor to be completed and properly covered with visual notification appliances.
The associated building permit (BLD 04-02409) is to construct a new 27,958 sq.ft. three story, metal frame exterior walls, concrete floors, metal roof deck and a roof top structure for mechanical equipment. Each floor is approximately 9,172 sq.ft. with interior CMU walls around restrooms and stair enclosures, metal framed walls located at lobby and entry areas. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for story and area increase. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. Separate plans and permits must be obtained to finish each tenant area. Refer to BLD 04-02444 for the grading. MJP DRH 04-0118 CUP 04-0063 Note: This building is within the 100 year floodplain.
