(SMALL SMILES OF BOISE LLC)(FAIRVIEW TECH CENTER) Drop and add new fire sprinkler protection for the remodel of a new 11,332-ft/2 dental clinic located in an existing 69,561-ft/2 building. Fire sprinkler work is related to miscellaneous demolition work, with installation of new one-hour rated fire barrier walls to roof deck, new interior walls, new suspended ceiling system, new restrooms, new quick-response heads throughout the space. This tenant has one-hour rated fire barrier walls on the east and the west and there is an existing 4-hour fire wall to the north. This permit will also have a one-hour rated medical gas room and one-hour rated mechanical room. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase and allows non-rated corridors in the space, one-third the overall diagonal for exit separation, does not require draftstopping, and allows the fire barrier walls to be reduced to a one-hour rating. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
