(BOARDING HOUSE-EAST SIDE) This is a limited Scope of Work Permit. The east building will be fully fire sprinklered throughout with a NFPA 13 system for the conversion of an existing historic building to a boarding house (bed & breakfast). Fire sprinkler work includes a 6" C-900 PVC underground fire service supply from South Street, with an outside PIV, running into the basement of the west side building (restaurant). The inside fire sprinkler work includes the riser only in the restaurant and overhead supply main feed into the east side basement, with another system separation control for 5 sleeping units, a porch, entry, 3 bathroom some closets and common areas throughout. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
