To provide fire/smoke damper control and HVAC shutdown to an existing local fire alarm system. A smoke detector over the FACP will be added with this permit.

9/14/2005 - Plan Modification. Upon final inspection, it was found that four more HVAC units required duct detectors. One (1) is located on the mezzanine and three (3) are located in the basement. Refer to comment #5 for model numbers and additional requirements.

Two additional sheets are being added to the submittal package. (Mezzanine and basement plans)

Provide revised riser to PDS Fire Inspector at time of inspection. (Also fax one to me, 388-4735)

The associated building permit (BLD 05-00355) is to remove mechanical boiler & replace with zoned furnace system which involves minor interior remodel per approved plans. Work to include, installation of ceiling in selective areas, construction of a 261 sq ft concrete slab on the north side of the exterior of building, replace all existing mechanical equipment. All penetrations to the ceiling are to be fire dampered and all penetrations to the corridor are to be fire/smoke dampered.
