Description
To provide total area automatic detection and notification in the TI space located on the 9th floor (partial). The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown, required automatic detection and notification throughout (voice/evac; high rise).

The associated building permit (BLD 05-01469) is to remodel an existing 1610 sq ft office space located on the 9th floor per approved plans. Work to include, construction of interior noncombustible partitions to create new office areas, conference room and reception area, replacement of ceiling tiles in existing suspended ceiling system, modify HVAC System, new lighting, and miscellaneous related finishes. NOTE This building is fully fire sprinklered and has an audible/visual fire alarm system. Separate permits are required for ANY fire sprinkler modifications and alarm work. "Office" room 905 is now a confrence room requiring visual notification, provide smoke detection at the restroom and telephone rooms, relocate SD in the lobby to afford proper coverage, the "closet" room lacks proper visual notification, provide an additional strobe to cover the blind spot at the east common area, dB level in the storage room is not adequate, the penthouse AV is non-functional on audio, provide resubmittals reflecting all modifications and required changes.
