(LAUREN MEDISPA - US BANK - STE 601) To relocate and add fire sprinklers in the remodel of an existing 2,679-ft/2 tenant space for a Light Hazard Occupancy use "Day Spa." This space is located on the 6th story of a 19 story building. The floor area of the entire 6th story is about 14,600-ft/2. The "core" has a floor area of about 2,670-ft/2. Fire sprinkler work is related to interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceilings and a restroom. This building is required to be fully fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. The fire sprinkler system, (and the infrastructure supporting these systems) for the 6th story are regulated under the provisions of the 2000 IBC. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
