The fourth floor piping at the connection between the north tower and the central tower is ok to cover.

A temporary occupancy was given with dave hannimans permission. The temporary occupancy is for only the areas as agreed upon by McCarthy Construction, Boise Fire Dept. and the Building Department. These areas include the basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 6th floor, 7th floor and penthouse. A fire watch is to remain on the 6th and 7th floors.

This inspection was actually for the eighth and ninth floors. They are ready for final when the time comes.

Overhead hydro test for 7th and 8th floors passed.

The south half of the 9th floor is ok to cover.

The south half of the 8th floor sprinkler piping is ok to cover.

The two sprinkler heads and related sprinkler piping located above the "rulon" ceiling on the 9th floor.

The electrical wiring has been removed from the sprinkler piping on the fourth floor.

Not all work is complete

The west half of the second floor sprinkler system is ok to final when the missing head in the electrical closet is installed.

We had a key for access but ceiling tile was missing from every room. The inspection was stopped after the fifth room. This was on the first floor.

There are many rooms that are missing ceiling tile and are locked with no access to inspect. Project was not ready for inspection.

Due to the abundance of inspections today there was not adequate time to perform this one. It will need to be rescheduled.

Penthouse hydro test passed.

6th and 7th floor hydro tests passed

Above ground hydro test of the west half of the first floor system passed.

The 2" fill line to the secondary storage tank was flushed. Also see the city approved plans for corridors and rooms on the second floor and first floor where piping is ok to cover. I also looked at the piping that will be above the Rulon ceiling in the first floor elevator lobby but did not give the ok to cover since this area has been resubmitted.

The first floor lobby grid ceiling areas next to the donor walls are approved for cover, noted two heads spaced beyond max. allowabe distance- contractor to relocate one head to eliminate this problem.

The remaining hardlids on the eigth floor are ok to cover. Also the piping under the first floor stairs is ok to cover

Fire sprinklers are approved for cover at the 1st floor chapel and chaplains office, also reinspected 5th floor RR which was missing a head and one hanger at an arm-over above a hard lid.

9th floor sprinkler rough-in passed.

The remaining south half of the 8th floor sprinkler system rough-in passed. Drops will still need to be inspected.

Rough in Inspection for the remaining areas of the 4th floor new tower is passed except for there are numerous areas where the hangers and piping have been removed by other contractors. Prior to final rough-in being passed another inspection will be required to verify everything has been corrected.

The pendant sprinkler piping in the corridor in the basement that connects the mechanical room to the south tower is ok to cover. The third floor east stair tower piping above the ceiling is ok to cover.

Hydro test of the west standpipe passed and can be covered in the first floor and basement walls.

All of the hydro tests failed except for the fdc piping

Underground flush passed.

Third floor rough-in passed. Still need to have the arm overs inspected before coverup.

Breakdown room is ok to cover

Witnessed the secondary water supply tank sitting in the hole in the ground and inspected piping about hard lids. I marked locations on plans.

The 8" city supply underground for the project is ok to cover. The two 8" elbows did not need to be installed.

Inspection was not for a flush but for a partial cover inspection of the underground. One length of underground piping as installed is ok to cover. It extends from the existing tap to the base of the column.

west half of the 2nd floor rough-in is passed. Inspection for arm-overs will need to be done.

The east half of the tower basement rough-in passed. Also the standpipe passed. Some piping has not been installed yet and is marked as such on the plans. Ceiling have not been installed which means arm overs will need to be inspected prior to coverup.

Hangers on third floor connecting corridor are ok.
