IDAHO EDUCATION ASSOCIATION * To install a complete underground fire service supply and overhead wet, grid, Light Hazard occupancy fire sprinkler system in an existing 15,690-ft/2 two-story building. The underground supply includes approximately 40'-0" of 6" C-900 PVC which offsets into a north east (unidentified) room of this building thought a wall with 6" approved ferrous pipe (not identified). Each floor consists of 7,845-ft/2. This building will be fully fire sprinklered under this permit. Fire sprinklers is for area and story to A-3 basic allowable increases, the allowance of non-rated exit corridors, the allowance for unenclosed exit stairways, and non-rated mechanical/boiler room. (The mechanical/boiler room, however, is a sprinklered incidental use area and is to be smoke tight construction with full height walls, self-closing smoke sealed doors, and smoke dampers at any duct penetrations). All fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
