(WESTERN PACIFIC TIMBER-STE 1601-RESTROOM UPGRADE-LOBBY REMODEL-AND REMAINING 16TH FLOOR SPRINKLER HEAD UPGRADE-US BANK BLDG) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To replace all 135 existing pendant fire sprinklers throughout this permit and the entire remaining floor from standard response to quick response. Also to relocate some existing drops and add 2 quick response SSU's; all for the creation of a 2,624-ft/2 office tenant located on the 16th story of a high rise building (of 19 total stories). Fire sprinkler work is related to the upgrade the 16th story core restrooms, remodel of the 16th story elevator lobby, interior nonbearing walls and suspended ceilings. The floor area of the entire 16th story is about 14,600-ft/2. The "core" has a floor area of about 2,670-ft/2. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. Demolition work permit performed under FIR05-00697 which has had no inspections and is incomplete to date. This permit is attached to BLD05-02270.

No final until all ceiling tile and escutcheons are installed, rough-in defficiencies include one office supplying three heads off a 1" line, three areas in which heads are too close to heat diffusers for temp. rating installed, possible obstruction in the womens restroom at stall divider, one office in the existing area is currently being used for storage, heads at this location are spaced for light hazard.
