Description
To provide required sprinkler monitoring of a new riser located in the SE corner of the new structure. A pull station and a horn will be installed in the new riser room. An additional ammonia monitoring sensor will be installed in the new spiral freezer. (This detector is not required per ICF 2003, this is a voluntary monitoring point added to the exiting ammonia detection system, which is contained within the FACP as a separate system.)

The building permit BLD05-02018 is to construct a 26,177 sq. ft. two story type III-B addition on the south and west side of an existing building. Other work includes upgrade of an existing wall to a 3 hr fire wall in the existing freezer, conversion of the construction type of the existing building from VN to III-B which includes demolition of a small office area on the west side of wood frame, all site improvements, paving and landscaping per approved plans and attachments. The existing building and the new addition are to be fully fire sprinklered with a fire alarm system. Fire sprinklers used for area. Building has been calculated for unseparated uses.
