To provide total notification, manual pull stations and In-duct smoke detectors for HVAC shutdown to an existing required manual fire alarm system. TI work includes the remodel and addition of 1,700 sq ft. to the west end of the building. A change in scope created a resubmittal to Boise City on 9/21/06 to replace the existing Pyrotronics fire alarm control panel with a new Edwards EST-3 control panel and provide compatible initiating devices and additional A/V coverage. The existing Pyrotronics System 23 horn panel is to remain. Existing and new notification devices will be added as necessary to provide total audible / visual requirements within the building per current IFC 2003 code. The associated building permit (BLD06-00830) is to demolish and remove the windows and door at the west exterior door and to demolish and remove the sidewalk at the west end of the building. To construct a 33'x52' (1,700 sq. ft.) one story addition at the west end of the existing 12,500 square foot, health services building.
