Description |
To provide total notification, HVAC shutdown (three duct smoke detectors) and manual pull stations (two, one at Maggie Moo's entrance and one at the common west entrance into the building) to an existing required manual fire alarm system. A new NAC panel will be installed under this permit to accommodate the added notification. The location for this NAC panel is a common storage area located in the basement under 8th Street Winery. (See FIR06-00246 location plans for physical location of panel).
The building permit BLD05-02218 is to remodel an existing 1,750 square foot tenant space (988 square feet for assembly and 762 square feet for the kitchen) for a new ice cream shop. This space is located on the 1st story of an existing 3 story, with basement, building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceilings, interior windows, interior doors, and finishes. In addition, about 265 square feet of floor structure will be constructed to fill in a floor opening between the 1st story and the basement. The existing atrium enclosure and 1-hr corridor within this building shall be maintained. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW** (MAGGIE MOO'S - 8TH STREET MARKETPLACE) This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction.
