This is a new required fire alarm system in a new senior residential apartment complex and assisted living center. The fire alarm system includes common area and residential smoke detectors alarm notification interface with nurse call system fire smoke damper control. This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase and requirements due to occupancy use group based on building stories & number of units. The Building permit Bld06-00579 is to construct a 57,480 sq. ft., three story, and 75 Unit (less than 800 sq. ft. per unit) assisted living community to include support facilities, for use by persons unable take action to provide self preservation in an emergency situation. This building is classified as Type IIA construction in accord with State of Idaho Facility Standards. Building elements listed in Table 601, 2003 IBC are to be non-combustible.
