Description
To remodel a new 22,000 sq ft retail tenant space located on the first floor per approved plans. The Fire Sprinkler scope includes dropping and relocating 273 heads into a new wall and ceiling layout under revision #3 of this project. This building is fully fire sprinkled and contains a smoke evacuation system. Any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department, the smoke evacuation system shall remain operational as originally installed under the 1985 UBC. This permit is attached to BLD06-02605.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area. The affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
