I inspected the second floor wings D, C and B. As with the previous inspection many pendants are blocked and the electrical room is missing coverage. I stopped the inspection until all of blocked heads have been fixed.

The remaining 3rd floor areas were inspected. The same obstructions as noted yesterday occur in the other third floor areas. There was no access into room 397. A canopy was missing from the bathroom pendant in room 374 and no sprinkler coverage was provided in the corridor electrical closet on the third floor C wing. The items from the previous correction notice still need addressed.

The final inspecton for the third floor of A wing was started today. I found that instead of viking pendants being installed reliable pendants had been installed. Also many of the light fixtures are blocking the pendant heads in the laundry/utility romms and in the main corridor. Need to change out heads or resubmit as built plans and data sheets for verification of hydraulic calcs and head spacing. Also need data sheets for the dry s/w heads to verify installation distance below ceilings on patios.

The hydro for the Attic main piping and second floor passed. There were some brace issues that were remedied by the end of the inspection. The intermediate area above the kitchen is being sprinkler because the owner didn’t want to insulate as originally agreed upon. The plans for that revision have been submitted to Brian.

Inspection was for a partial on the underground supply line and remote FDC. Both pipes from the stub out to roughly twenty feet were not at the required bury depth of 4'6". The only piping in the trench was the twenty feet. Also the new FDC location has not been approved yet
