Relocate 38 SSP heads & add 2 SSU heads to accommodate a new wall and ceiling layout in an existing Office area. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD06-03094. When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification. The Revised Scope of Work:
Removed the down heads in the office area and reestablish the upright protection as shown on sheet FP-2. Two heads will also be added at the mezzanine to meet spacing requirements. A total of 49 heads are affected by this revision.
