Description
This fire alarm permit is to install a new fire alarm system in the new ADA County Jail Medical Facility and network this panel into the new FACP into the existing main jail central control fire alarm panel. The new fire alarm system includes area smoke detection, partial audible visual notification, smoke control and initiation, remote annunciator, sprinkler and HVAC duct detector monitoring. Building Permit BLD06-03515 is to construct a new 24,605 square foot, one story, masonry and steel framed Jail Medical Unit and Office building and related site improvements. This building is considered a new stand alone building with the Sally Port constructed to comply as a pedestrian walkway. All construction shall be per the approved plans and attached comment list. The strobes now shutdown with the horns but the smoke control system still has issues. One duct smoke detector was found to be mounted incorrectly and is in the process of being fixed.
