This fire alarm permit is to replace an existing Radionics D7112 with an addressable/conventional Radionics (Bosch) D7024 Fire Alarm Control Panel. The explanation for panel replacement is that elevator recall and shutdown requirements were not possible with the existing FACP and a new fire alarm control panel was required. The scope of work includes bring all areas of the buildings fire alarm system in compliance with current 2003 IFC. Including audible visual notification to be installed in several accessible rooms, the addition of several addressable modules, relays, smoke and heat detectors to initiate elevator recall and shutdown functions. The building is fully fire sprinklered and fire sprinkler and HVAC monitoring along with fire smoke damper operation shall be required. Several fire alarm zones will remain as originally installed and will be connected to a conventional board in the new FACP device compatibility is required.
