Scope of Work:
The system has been designed to provide adequate attic protection for Light Hazard and ceiling-level sprinkler protection for future rack storage to the maximum available height of storage, (18ā€¯below trusses), contemplating storage of Class IV commodities in racks, with in-rack sprinklers, in accordance with B.C. Ordinance Amendment 7-01-52 (adding IFC 903.1.6) for High Piled Combustible Storage Warehouse. However, the proposed installation will only consist of sprinkler heads installed at the roof
level (pitched roof), designed for light hazard, attic protection and sprinkler piping with plugged sprinkler outlets at the bottom of trusses, (future ceiling level), for completion by future tenants based
on their specific proposed storage.
The approved sprinkler plans are only for installation of the Light Hazard roof-level shell sprinklers and that a sprinkler permit will be required for all TI building permits, to install or verify adequate sprinkler protection for the specific proposed occupancy and tenant floor plan. A flat ceiling is required for high piled storage (NFPA 13; 12.1.7)
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and NFPA 13 2002, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD07-003.49.Original Scope of Work:

10/16/07 Modified Scope of Work:
The previously approved system has been modified to include heads in two roof overbuild areas. New plans and calculations supporting the additional heads and piping have been submitted for approval. Noted to be Revision #1 dated 10/07
