This fire alarm permit is to replace an existing non required fire alarm and sprinkler monitoring system and install a new addressable non required manual fire alarm system with full audible visual notification in a tenant space within the building. The new fire alarm panel will consist of sprinkler and suppression system monitoring installed in the switch gear and equipment room. New manual pull stations will be installed in the Syringa Network tenant space and in the common corridor exits. A smoke detector will be installed above the new FACP. 12-14-2007 Plan Modification - This plan modification includes removing the original Ansul suppression panel that was to be installed for suppression system releasing service and use the main building FACP and releasing "SRPPs" modules that are connected to the main building fire alarm system for fire suppression and sprinkler pre-action releasing service. All releasing service requirements will be initiated by the building fire alarm control panel. Additional fire suppression peripheral devices are now shown on the building floor plans and riser along with the suppression area smoke detectors that will be used for cross zoning and a double interlock pre-action system. - No building permit is associated with this work.
