This fire alarm permit is to install a new network fire alarm control panel in the Second Phase of the City Side Lofts Condominium project. The new FACP will be networked together with the existing phase I City Side Lofts FACP. The new fire alarm panel includes corridor audible visual and dwelling unit notification appliances, elevator recall, shunt trip and power monitoring. The Phase II building fire sprinkler system will be monitored by the new phase II FACP. Audible visual notification will be required in the parking area below the building as noted on the plans by this review. To include notification appliances in the phase I parking area as noted on the plans. Both buildings are required to be evacuated in a fire alarm condition with separate supervising station monitoring due to the two different addresses of each building. Building permit BLD06-00693 is to construct a new 35 unit, 39,450 square feet, 5 story, wood framed, multi-family/condominium building, above a Type I-A parking garage, per City Ordinance 4-16. Each unit exceeds 800 square feet in floor area. Refer to BLD 05-02204 & BLD 05-02750 for the southern buildings and BLD 05-00926 for for the parking garage. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered per NFPA 13 as required by Boise City Ordinance. All construction shall be per the approved plans and attached comment list. PLAN MODIFICATION * 5/3/07 * To relocate trash enclosure and add a trash chute to the exterior of the structure next to the north stair enclosure as shown on sheets A1.0, A2.1, A2.2, A2.3, A2.4, A2.5, A2.6, A5.0, A8.0, A8.1, A9.0, and A10.1 with revision dates after 4/1/07.
